Starrows is unique singleplayer-focused action RTS where we gradually build up an army to help us defeat the enemy’s king while protecting our own – much like in a MOBA.

We start by choosing a map to play, each of which has a distinct feel and requires a different tactic. Next, we select one of the many available heroes and a blessing that provides us an advantage in one area and an equal disadvantage in another area. Finally, we head onto the battlefield, where we attack the enemy with the help of the archer or wizard units that certain buildings spawn automatically. Meanwhile, we can bolster our units and defenses to protect from enemy attacks by building and upgrading our encampment using gold received from killing enemy units.

Starrows does offer a multiplayer mode, but at the time of writing this review, it is rare to find any available matches. This is partly because the game is seven years old, even though it is still receiving updates. Fortunately, we can create online servers on our own, and even host local wifi games if we have people to play with.

The game is completely free without ads or iAPs, and with a very small download size, it should run on any phone. This makes Starrows an easy recommendation for MOBA fans, and anyone looking for a simple, fun, real-time strategy game.
